Summary: Top-ranked multinational law firm is seeking a Systems Supervisor to serve as an integral member of the Firmwide IT Department to ensure the efficiency and success of the legal and administrative staff within the Firm.
HOURS: Monday - Friday 12PM to 8PM KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish schedules, set priorities and provide guidance and support to help desk staff
- Provide coaching to team members on performance, operational procedures and techniques for troubleshooting various technologies
- Complete employee performance evaluations and recommend various salary actions
- Ensure that IT Help Desk services are being operated in an efficient manner across the Firm
- Manage help desk ticket requests using Service Now and make sure that each is responded to promptly
- Act as a representative of the IT Help desk when responding to assistance requests
- Troubleshoot, identify, and research IT issues and interface with staff via telephone or in person
- Monitor active and resolved IT support issues/tickets and check for whether they need to be escalated to a higher level support staff and create or update articles through Knowledge Base to act as a resource for other IT staff members
- Install updates on software throughout the Firm when needed
- Manage hardware/software inventory
- Provide back up Help Desk support to administrative and legal staff whenever needed

Required

- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5+ years experience providing telephone-based IT support and/or desk-side technical support
- Supervisory experience is a must as well as experience working in a Law Firm
- Microsoft Office application suite exposure, as well as iManage, Payne, Workshare, DocXtools, SMS, Micorsystems, Litera
- Strong knowledge of PC systems and MAC systems (desktop and laptop), as well as wireless devices and printer hardware
- Previous experience supporting mobile devices or with Mobile Device Management platforms (Airwatch)
- Previous experience with entering and tracking tickets in an incident management system (Service Now)
- Knowledge of VOIP technology telephone system
- Previous experience with Active Directory
- Wireless device support (Blackberry, Droid, iPhone, iPad, etc)

Summary
|
This position will be responsible for designing and delivering effective, quality training in the classroom, remotely, and in one-on-one sessions to attorneys and staff.
|
Responsibilities
|
- Responsible for training all new hire and current employees on customized computer applications, telephone systems, firm technology policy and procedures, as well as best practices.
- Design, develop and implement training programs and documentation that’s effective and easy to understand.
- Work closely with all levels of the firm to ensure that the delivered product meets training objectives, standards, and timelines.
- Coordinate and schedule training, including brush-up and skill enhancement classes.
- Learn new applications and design training curriculum using various methodologies.
- Assist in the development of in-house customized eLearning modules (Captivate).
- Perform requisite administrative course preparation (organize class outlines, manuals, reference sheets, etc.)

Required
|
- Candidate must have 4+ years of training design and delivery experience; law firm experience preferable.
- Must have a strong understanding of current technology and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Must have the ability to present subject matter in understandable terms to adult users with various levels of computer experience.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work in a team environment
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and problem solving skills required.
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Office required.
- Experience in iManage FileSite, Legal MacPac, TimeKM, PDFDocs/CompareDocs, Concordance, IPro, LiveNote, CaseMap, Compulaw or their equivalents highly preferred.
Experience with UniversitySite or other LMS tools a plus.
- Occasional travel required.

Summary
|
In this job as a Technical Specialist you will be responsible for performing quality checks to ensure accuracy, creating and modifying databases and image bases, including database administration, data manipulation and software utility creation.
|
Responsibilities
|
- Quality checks data received for loading and reports statistics on quality of data and images
- Loads data and images from CD and other media sources to the Firm's systems
- Converts and manipulates data for loading into the Firm's database systems
- Designs and documents software utility modules using scripting languages
- Performs complex tasks associated with OCR conversion, PDF conversion, CD-ROM creation and image printing that do not lend themselves to standardized procedure
- Works with LT Project Coordinator(s) to ensure quality of loaded data and images
- Informs Project Coordinator/Manager regarding project progress and issues
- Assists with software testing and trouble-shooting
- Creates databases and sets up user accounts
- Trouble-shoots and resolves issues with desktop applications and equipment
- Maintains physical order of source media and other related materials
- Assists with complex database searches and generation of reports
- Assists with printing, document production (paper and electronic), creates CDs
- Assists with creation of electronic bound volume sets

Required
|
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Working knowledge of Unix, programming principles, SQL for use with databases and job related computer software, i.e. imaging, database and Web technology
- Command of at least one scripting language
- Bachelor’s degree
- Available to work Wednesday-Sunday, 9:30am-5:30pm, with flexibility for overtime
